Augmented anastomotic BMG urethroplasty allows to reconstruct the urethra even after resection of 4-5cm of the stricture. It can be done while the strictured and fibrotic part of the urethra is resected but tension free end to end anastomosis is risky due to danger of ischemia of anastomosed stumbs. Both stumbs are longitudinaly cut (spatulated) on ipsilateral, dorsal part. Ventral circumference is sutured and the bottom of the reconstucting urethra is covered by buccal musocal graft. Particular steps of the procedure are shown in gallery.
